A Symposium on Fluid Science and Turbulence will be organized on the occasion of K.R. Sreenivasan's 60th birthday in Baltimore on May 30-31 2008 to celebrate his long scientific career. Leo P. Kadanoff, Benoit B. Mandelbrot and Jacob Palis, former Chairman of the ICTP Scientific Council, will be among the distinguished invited lecturers. The proceeding of the symposium will be published in a special issue on Fluid Science and Turbulence in Physica D.
