Helmholtz Association
President of Germany's largest scientific organization meets ICTP officials
Professor Dr. Jürgen Mlynek, President of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres, visited ICTP on 12 May. Assistant Director Claudio Tuniz and the heads of research groups illustrated to him ICTP's scope and activities. The two institutions could cooperate in the future in fields of common interest. The Helmholtz Association is Germany's largest scientific organization. It aims at solving major challenges facing society, science and the economy by carrying out research in the fields of Energy, Earth and Environment, Health, Key Technologies, Structure of Matter, and Transport and Space.
