Two delegations from Asia visited the Centre last month. On 2 December, four administrators of the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI), headed by Young-Soo Koh, principal administrator of the planning office, met ICTP Director Katepalli Sreenivasan to explore potential areas of future co-operation. On 5-6 December, a three-person Indonesian political delegation stopped by ICTP as part of a series of visits to international scientific institutions in Trieste. Ms. Sri Woro B. Harijono, deputy minister of the research, science and technology programme at the Korean Office of Foreign Affairs, led the group.
