Katepalli R. Sreenivasan, ICTP's newly appointed director, will visit Trieste on 13-14 January. On Monday, he will speak to and meet with Centre scientists and staff, and make a scientific presentation focussing on his own research. On Tuesday, he will hold a press conference and visit the Elettra synchrotron radiation facility at the Area Research Park. Sreenivasan will return to ICTP in March to begin his tenure as ICTP director.
