The Centre has begun organizing activities for the second annual Physics Week to be held the last week in March. Physics Week is part of a celebration of scientific and technological culture sponsored by the Italian Ministry of University and Scientific & Technological Research. Throughout the week-long activities, the ICTP hopes to promote the image of physics among high school students in Trieste and the surrounding areas. Scientists from ICTP and SISSA will give 10 lectures on a wide range of topics that are designed to acquaint students with the interesting work done by our researchers.
